The Renovation Part 2 – Six Sentence Story

Part 1 can be read here.

After realizing that I really could do this reno by myself I decided that I also wanted to put a bathroom in on the main floor.

For this, I would need to draw up some plans. I knew exactly where the new bathroom, a powder room to be precise, would go.

Getting out my trusty tape measure I wrote down all the dimensions and later I’d draw them to scale on a graph pad.

Asking my brother in law the plumber to give me a quote and timeframe would be beneficial. I’d mention to him that a little family discount is always appreciated.

The Renovation – Six Sentence Story

I have all the tools I need;  hammers, tape, screwdrivers, pliers, snips, and determination.

He said I wouldn’t be able to do it.

I refuse to let anyone tell me what I can and cannot do, besides, I’ve always been mechanically inclined, and anyway how hard can it be.

First things first, I’ll start by ordering a waste bin, then clean up, and throw out everything that I won’t need for the renovation.

A trip to HomeDepot will be the next step to pick up materials, glass, and paint.

If I do happen to run into any problems I can always call for help.
