Feeling bewildered

Grieving, heartbroken, lonely

Promises broken

Life is Good #Tanka #Poetry

This was written for a challenge over at Colleen’s 2020 Weekly Tanka Tuesday Poetry Challenge.

The two words to write about are “Love” & “Harmony”

Life is Good

Pure tranquility

is how I feel, when with you

Friendship was the base

Love followed shortly after

Harmonious we’ve become

Love Again – A Senryu
A small ray of hope
Broke through, causing her to smile
Sun would shine today
As the days went on
Life got better and better
The past left behind
Memories still there
Fading a little each day
Hurting less and less
A new beginning
Filled her heart with promise
She could love again

What you do to me

A Broken Heart – Haiku

Heartbroken alone
Hard to go on without you
Life seems so empty
Pillows drenched in tears
Sleepless nights of reflections
Emotional wreck
Love can be blinding
Ignored all the warning signs
Feeling like a fool
Paralyzed confused
All trust disintegrated
Friendship buried
