Guilty or Innocent
The following was written for a challenge called #SixSentenceStory over at Denise’s.
The prompt word for this week is “Question”.

Jane got a call from her son’s school principal wanting her to come to his office ASAP regarding something of importance that involved her son Pete.
Oh God, what has he done now was all that was going through Jane’s head as she quickly brushed her hair and put on a bit of lipstick before heading over there.
“Come right in Mrs. Patterson and please have a seat,” instructed the principal.
Before Jane could say a word, he started by saying, “Every once in a while as I’m sure you’re aware, we do random locker checks, and today we checked Pete’s locker and let me tell you I was not happy about what was found. I could have called the police but I’m not so sure that what was found belongs to him and that is why I’ve called you in.”
Reaching down and unlocking one of his desk drawers Mr. Taylor pulled out what appeared to be pot and said, “This is what is in question, but hasn’t been tested yet.”
