Highway 1

This poem was written for Six Sentence Story over at Denise’s.

Prompt Word: Coast

From San Francisco to San Diego

Highway driving in my Winnebago

Enjoy stopping along the way

Site seeing at every bay

The coast is where I want to be

North or south, it doesn’t matter to me

Beautiful scenic photos, and the poem sums them up quite nicely! It was like taking a little mini-vacation right here at my computer. I loved this photo adventure.

  3. Lovely poem to accompany lovely photos. I grew up in a small community in Newfoundland on Bay St. George. These images take me back to those days. Beautiful!

    • We finally made it down east a few years back but didn’t make it to NFLD. We plan on returning to visit.

      • It’s beautiful there, not because I’m from there it just is. Northern Ontario – North Bay, and through Thunder Bay – both beautiful places too. Canada is such an awesome country – so much to see…
