Day at the Seashore

CC#37

Sunny sandy beach

Tide rolling in so gently

Hot yet breezy day

Breathing in freshness

Nostrils fill with briny air

Stress evaporates

Bodysurfing as

Crashing waves hit the shoreline

BringingΒ  me back in

As the sun goes down

The seagulls are gathering

Searching for morsels

  3. I thank you, Susan. I was there, on the beach with you. And so grateful to be there on a hot day like this πŸ™‚

      • Yea, when they make one I’m not allergic to. But, matters not. When the weather warms I have to stay in cos otherwise I crumple to the ground in a faint. Apparently my heart can’t cope with pumping the blood to the surface fast enough to cool it. So to protect the internal organs, my brain pulls the plug. It’s a combination of slow heart beat and low blood pressure. Ho-hum. I expect I inherited that along with my Neanderthal genes πŸ™‚

          • The only time I really notice it is, like tomorrow. I want to take the camera out. But I can’t. Even on the coast, where we usually have a cooling breeze, we’re getting temperatures in excess of 30C. I pass out at 25C. So … it’s a cool interior for me.
