Whenever I exercise, I feel like I’m going to die.
Swimming laps is fun to do, try them, you might like them too.
Running around the track at school, made me feel like such a fool.
I would go once around, then you’d see me, laying on the ground.
Track and field was not my thing, I’d prefer to sit and sing.
When I’m told to exercise, always I ask, can I improvise.
Well done! Daresay I’ve feel the same about track and field, lol

Wasn’t the long jump just a killer 🙂

You and me both. I love walking, with a destination in mind, but that’s about as close as I get to exercise.

I liked the rhyme (and rhythm) of your Six!
But I really liked (hated)… the image of youth at the top of the post. There is the unmistakeable difference (between the ages) illustrated in the photo: a person moving along with so little of life’s sometimes excessive, always unavoidable, weight of experience pressing them down into the earth.
probably shouldn’t say ‘hate’…. not how I feel when confronting such examples… I just speed up the car and get back to my own world where things move so much slower… plodding onward.*
*lol… I mean that in an upbeat encouraging way, of course!

I say yuk to such sporty things. Rather, to exercise, I walk and dance.
