This little story was written for Weekend Writing Prompt.

“Let’s take dad’s car out for a little spin, shall we?” said Greg.

“I don’t think he’d like that very much, you know it’s his pride and joy,” Sally answered.

“Well we’re not going to tell him silly, besides what he doesn’t know won’t hurt him.”

“But you can be sure if he finds out he’ll hurt us.”

“Stop being such a big scaredy cat, besides he’s gone for the weekend and he’ll never find out.”

“Unless he comes home early”, announced Greg and Sally’s dad.

“Uh … Uh … Oh hey, dad.”
