Story Starter Challenge for April 27th. Sentence Prompt: There’s a storm brewing.
I heard all week that we’d be getting snow this weekend but I didn’t believe it until I woke up today and saw this. A dusting, not that bad, but there’s a storm brewing all over the country I hear.
They say this is the end of April.
I thought it was April showers bring May flowers, not April snow brings May cold.
May is going to turn magically warm for you, sometimes it just feels like it takes forever to get here!

We are having a very cold autumn, Susan. Global warming or just cold weather.

One year it snowed June 16th in Salt Lake City, Utah. No one believed it would, but it did lol

Meanwhile, back in the UK, I was taking photos of hawthorn blossoms last week. But hawthorn blossom are named May, cos that’s when it blossoms. Um. I think it forgot to change the clock.

Last week I was cleaning up the yard and gardens. I just looked outside and it seems to all be melting. Hope there isn’t anymore coming.

Exceptional weather. It happens … once in a while. I remember it snowed (a flurry) in my 12th birthday … in June. And I live in East Anglia, not the most northerly clime.
