Out my bedroom window last night
It was dark, not at all bright
I could see my red maple tree
It had snowed, how could this be
Spring is here, I am told
The snow, it’s getting very old
How will Easter Rabbit find his way
Easter is, in a few short days
I hope the bunny trail is clear of snow
So Peter Cottontail knows where to go
How many eggs do you think you’ll find
What oh what is your favorite kind
I like yellow, green, and blue
As long as they’re chocolate, how about you
Filled with caramel or peanut butter
Are my favorite, favorite others
Do you hunt for eggs outside
If you do are they dyed
Be sure to have your basket close
See if you can find the most
Do you have an Easter ham
Please give the cook a hand
