Thunderstorm
The gods are angry, just look up at the sky
See that lightning with fire on the side
Feel that rumbling deep in your bones
Count the seconds from lightning to thunder
The lightning is your warning
The thunder lets you know
How close the storm is and when it will blow
There could be a torrential downpour
Saturating all and more
The storm could disappear without any notice
Or stay for days flooding everything with slowness

Oh yes, the storm can take either way, we just don’t know what it will do. Such a beautiful write for this prompt Susan, thank you.
